Kelly Gay, 1st Grade

Kelly Gay holds a B.S. in Middle Grades Education from North Carolina State University and is certified in Mathematics and Science for grades 6-12. She recently earned an elementary math certification and is pursuing an ELA license to enhance her teaching. Known for integrating reading and writing into math and science, Kelly was featured in PBS Boston for her innovative cross-curricular approach. With experience in both traditional and virtual classrooms, she focuses on engaging diverse learners. Outside of teaching, Kelly enjoys baking sourdough bread, reading suspense novels, and traveling with her family, finding joy in new experiences and connecting with her students.
