Matt Moreland, School Counselor

Matt holds his BA in psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and his MA in K-8 School Counseling from New York University. He loves working with students one on one as well as small groups, specifically lunch bunches (they are his favorite type of small group). When not doing school counseling, he can be found working on music, his YouTube channel, playing videogames, or watching movies. He is a self-professed nerd who loves topics such as Star Wars and Fortnite, and can hold a conversation about them for an extended period of time (if needed). This is his first official year being hired as a school counselor and he can’t wait to get started!
